bye bye HUNTERS

Since all the trigger happy individuals are out of the woods I decided to bring down my mountain bike from its hooks. I'm aware that they weren't allowed in city parks but if someone was tracking da turdy point buck onto a public domain then I sure as hell wouldn't put it past him/her to open fire! Jen is making lefsa at her folks this evening which gave me the opportunity to do a oneway commute as she is picking me up after work. I began this afternoon by rolling up snomo trails in order to reach Amity Creek. Right now the conditions are perfect as all the vegetation has died down and any mud that was is frozen. I'll have to measure some of these before the snow falls as I'll be running them all winter. Once I got to the other side of Hawk Ridge I took a gnarly descent that popped out @ 43rd Ave E & Oakley. From there I just made an urban route over to the DRC to pick up my packet for tomorrow and proceed to swipe in for my swift.

Duration: 1 hour 5 minutes

As for yesterday, I just took a run thru Brighton Beach and Lakeside neighborhood alleys. I notice getting out more frequently of late because the legs are holding onto previous exercises. Trying to use the whole body to propel myself removes some of this stress.

Duration: 52 minutes
Mileage: 6 3/4
