I decided to give my new Five Fingers that Jen got me a whirl on the soft ski trails w/her. They certainly are minimal and offer nothing but an extra layer of skin. Working cautiously using this philosophy has been very rewarding and fun. A little spice in your training even if it is considered unorthodox I find worthwhile just plainly to break the monotony sometimes. Using muscle fibers that never had the chance to in a shoe w/a normal last got my HR going at times. Now, we're off to Thirsty Pagan Brewing!
Trail Run: 51 minutes
During the fall, posting will mainly be at the end of the week since after reviewing this summer I got blah blah blah and it made me think.....ughh! So, adding totals could inform me better w/o taking up precious moments that should be spent cooking, wrestling w/the kitties, etc. Relevant stuff to a particular workout is alright and I wouldn't consider this another overdone evaluation. Keeping up w/life on a daily basis is hard enough, reviewing summaries of the past is impossible. I realize that's the purpose of logging data but window dressing does nothing to help find a solution.

Just discovered your blog. The Minnesota expert on the VFF is Keith Krone; I have a link to his blog on my blogroll.
