intro to pain

With the idea of carpooling w/Kaitala & Gardner down to the Human Race 8k I thought I'd give myself a little prelude of what is to come. I got on the dreaded treadmill as I could arrange an easy progression run by dialing in the speed. I made it brief as after leaving the CPF Jen and I were heading to see Riverdance. After warming up for a couple miles @ mid-lo eight minute pace I ran 2.5 miles starting at 6:50's and ending with 5:50's. This turnover wasn't easy as I mainly struggled thru the inefficiency part of it. Following that, I cooled down @ lo nine minute pace.

Having put in journal entries now for a couple months I decided I'll only post my aerobic training. I've gotten into a good habit in doing strength and flexibility exercises on off days. Plus, my commuting will be more constant as we're getting closer to spring and I'll just add that in with the totals. Late start for work tonight because of Red Lobster. Still bitter cold here on this March evening and yet I keep turning the cranks.
