cough cough...spit

Today I got out feeling good knowing I wasn't going to cause more trouble. I went to Internal Medicine Friday morning and met w/a CNP about my cough. She told me it isn't uncommon to have one following influenza. Her opinion after listening to my breathing was that I didn't have pneumonia....whew hoo!! There is a little wheezing probably from phlegm which is typical for me approaching spring. I learned there is a surprising amount of mold on top of the melting snow and this is probably the source to my annual battle. My run took me down W. Tischer to Eagle Lake. I wanted to stress myself a bit in the middle so I went up Vermillion to Elk(hilly) and snaked around back to Woodland Ave. I'm hoping I hack a lot more crud out with each run. I presume this is only the beginning of what is to come even after the bug has gone on to prey on a different host. Otherwise, I hope the weather in St. Paul was just as nice for those doing the Human Race. I'll be checking in later to see how the locals did. Only wish I could've gone. No complaints other than being sick yet.
