Is this what I'm craving?
Nope, definitely wasn't the PRO BAR! Like the previous weekend, this race this morning served as a great chance for experimentation since it rated low on significance to me. Uncertain whether it was the hawaiian VIP we had for dinner last night or something else but I only took in two Hammer Gels, four Endurolytes, and water before choosing to try more solid food in my pocket. I had a Kettle Corn flavored bar of soap as I would most accurately describe it and could only choke down half of it plainly for nutrition sake. I did slowly ingest one final gel but that was all my stomach would allow. Fortunately, I hydrated really well throughout and even had to pit stop for a leak which is unusual for myself. Upon crossing the line, my appetite came right back and over to Gordy's Hi-Hat we went followed by picking a couple buckets at Finke's Berry Farm. Despite soreness from barely any running of late I never really cracked. Second event in a row w/a nice field size having many familiar and unknown people involved. Results were 10th place overall in 3:46 and change.
