Reports from Tofte were poor so I picked up Erik this morning and we decided on Boulder Lake Management Area. He hadn't skied it before and got a great first impression from stellar conditions for us to skate on. There must be art involved because the person responsible for grooming up there is more talented than in town! Aerobically, we didn't seem like the effort was high but our strength would indicate otherwise. One stop at Wolfski's Ski Den(for cider and cocoa) and another at the parking lot(Erik forgot his bottle) were our only real breaks. 21.18k would be our total according to the maps.
