Yesterday my legs sucked ass which I suspected following a trying commute home the night before. Just can't figure it out and I no longer care to rattle my noodle to hard over it anymore. I set out running the city park hiking trail(not the SHT) to the snomo trail and I knew early on that this wasn't worth it. So, I hung a left onto a segment that brought me down to the hockey rinks and crossed the road to climb up where kids toboggan on the hill and darted into the woods for singletrack that I'd scramble over until I popped out onto the top of 58th Ave E and descend home from there.

Maybe it was the end of the year thing or some other phenomena acting on me but it sure was difficult waiting to see whether things would be better today. I had an appointment set w/Duluth Dodge for an oil & filter change and wanted to leave Jen reading her book as the service was being done while I got to do a net loss in elevation run back home. A wind chill advisory would spoil that idea as the open roads no longer seemed exciting. As a result, I would head out in the same direction as Tuesday feeling great by comparison. My ventilatory rate indicated that I was putting forward an effort as like to prove something. This run I decided to go down the road further to shorten the singletrack. However, the commute still handed me a bit of deep fatigue.
