holeshot

With my focus abruptly switched over to cyclocross for the fall season I'm not wasting any time in preparation. Dudley and I rode out to check the newly paved Homestead Road on our loop in Lakewood TWP. Once warmed up, I proceeded to do eight force reps w/~four minutes recovery between each. The objective is to slow the rolling pace down to walking speed and then do 15-20 revolutions as powerful as possible to simulate a start and/or remounting after a hill. I did half of them in the saddle and the other half standing. Things went pretty good as my mechanical efficiency came back quick!

Road Ride: 1 hour 55 minutes
Commuter Pedal: 1 hour
