river beds

Hoofin' it along the Amity Creek Trail this afternoon I couldn't help but notice all the spur inlets & outlets to/from the water. While moving by some of them it seemed that people walk their dogs down there and when the level is flowing to high where it is insurpassable they come back up to the main path. I've been on the hiking trails in Hawk Ridge but only briefly on occasions and was pleasantly surprised by how much fun they are. Great simulation for the terrain that awaits me on the Superior Trail 50 Mile course! I carried on to the ski trails and called it quits by hopping rocks on my way down the Lester River to the bridge the Duathlon uses in transition.

Trail Run: 2 hours 9 minutes
