acclimatizing

With all the rain we've been getting I knew the first sunny day following would not be enjoyable. I can handle most conditions w/the exception of humidity. Having seen three different healthcare providers and feeling confident w/the last one of them I decided to try and easy run. I set up an loop in the area and placed a water bottle out on a boulder along the road near the entrance to home. Looking for a sense of pace w/o a HR monitor on I took my splits for each of the two laps. I'd say I did darn good by running the first only six seconds slower that the latter one. I gave myself 25 seconds to swig water in between. My foot doesn't have much pain and seems like there is a marble in there interfering w/movement. Other than the weather leaving something to be desired, a solid return to action!!

Duration: 47 minutes
Mileage: 6 2/3
