I had planned midweek to run w/Gregg from his place and our goal was to stay off the pavement as much as possible. I'd say we did well since the only time spent on roads/streets were when crossing them to get from one trail system to the next. Everything was in great shape except for only a few tacky spots we could leap over. Our quest began in Rock Hill and then over to Chester Bowl for some terrain change! On our way up the creek my HR Monitor went blank(got a new battery later in the afternoon) so I just tried to keep it real for the remainder. We returned to Rock Hill and carried on to Hartley taking the SHT to the pond. After backtracking to Rock Hill we decided that was enough. Overall, my leg strength is excellent but I go easily into O2 debt on the climbs. Also, while out following this I got my hands on a pair of these NB 790's my training partner wore. Should be a lot of fun to give 'em a try on Monday. Tomorrow I'm just going to do some upper body workout @ the CPF and start building a new mountain bike!!
