Well, the winds were very impressive but the snow totals were lackluster. I heard people say eight to 10 inches when it was all said and done which for mid April I guess is pretty crazy. They were calling for more but I'm glad they were wrong!! This morning I received an unexpected phone call Gregg inquiring what I had in store for a run today and it must have appealed to him because he came over shortly later. He's got quite a bit better PR's over various distances than I so I knew we'd probably be going a little faster than usual which I'm never oppose to such a challenge. We went down numerous stretches of gravel roads that he hadn't been on before while stomping a lot of slush and noticed the frost is starting to come out of the ground in areas. I got to hack out some crud from the cold I'm dealing with but it didn't seem to impede much other than breathing. Felt very comfy again this weekend with no aches or pains following.
