standby route

The loop I put together today has nice variation to it and will be using more in the future. Starting out gentle on Martin, 2nd Ave N, and Homecroft before turning hilly on Howard Gnesen and the rollers continue on Norton with the roads forgiving at the end w/a slight decline in elevation. I felt very relaxed but sore and tired. There were the usual strong winds out on Rice Lake and I was relieved once I turned on W Calvary. I had it in my plans to go harder for the last two miles which I definitely held myself to. On an RPE scale I gave it a 9.5 but you'd never guess it from my split(12:34). I'm still fighting the fact that I'm not very smooth yet but it'll come. Also, this came at the end of some difficult conditions. Improvement on last week none the less!

Duration: 1 hour 6 minutes
Mileage: 9
