DON'T LEAVE CAMP WITHOUT IT

An avid outdoorsman doesn't need me to explain what makes Glacier and Yellowstone the experience of a lifetime! My advice would be, head to Glacier for the scenery and Yellowstone for the wildlife & geothermal activity. I get overwhelmed by the expansive surroundings of these national parks. Neither of us own a camera powerful enough to capture how one feels in a place like this but Jen is quite a shutterfly which had me relieved of such a difficult task and I encourage you to look her up on facebook as she filled a couple 8gb memory cards.

Some highlights included: driving the going-to-the-sun road, hiking on mashed potato snow(in shorts & t-shirt), several breathtaking mountain peaks, purest ice blue creeks, massive cedar & hemlock trees, geysers, steam vents, fumaroles, hot springs, mud pots, *rotten egg odor*, blowdown & fires of '88, alpine meadow blooms, mountain goats, herds of bison on roadways and Lamar & Hayden Valleys(aggressive rutting season), elk lounging in town on the lawn @ post office and chapel, two mule deer being chased by one coyote thru visitors on boardwalk(predatory action in raw nature), and last...but not least.....FOUR GRIZZLIES!!!!
