The race last Sunday came and went just as I thought it might. Surprisingly, the field was rather large and competitively deep thru mid-pack which for me was a bonus since an eye opener seems to be required in getting motivation. I was able to sustain an effort of suffering throughout the two laps making the morning a success. According to the guidelines, everyone from the DRC Team has advanced to Nationals! Ran 59 minutes w/Henry in Lester & Hawk Ridge @ noon on a frigid but sunny afternoon. I'm finally warming up to head back out again for my bike commute to the jobby job. Yep, next time you fellas toe the line w/me....it won't be w/a shell of a man!!
