Yep, I've seen this happen often, get a touch of drizzle like precip followed by arctic cold. The snowshoeing will suck ass, nordic skiing will only be fair if the groomers do their job correctly, but cycling is certain to be FABULOUS!!! My hopes are to stomp the singletrack one last time tomorrow before the frigid air pours into our region.
Lester was great on Christmas Eve as I snowshoed a nice loop in the company of Tony & Gregg. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to link up w/my old high school buddy, Paul Marietta. His family was staying up the shore @ Grand Superior Lodge and he connected w/me for a 9 AM in the park and we did the identical course again. We had labored conversation to say the least as we covered the same ground four minutes faster on this occasion.
