Well, two years ago for the inaugural Minnesota Mile in our downtown here I ran 5:01 and now two years later I went 5:00. Both of them I didn't really prepare for in any way since I didn't expect to compete in either. However, finishing sixth yesterday got me some hardware and a $40 gift certificate to AJ. Also, this only throws more wood on the fire to return in search of a time beginning w/the #4! I might consider the TC 1 Mile next spring when being on the roads is standard in Duluth, MN.
Fall is right around the corner and my health is great which has me wanting to add some trail racing on foot before cyclocross to kick off the season as sharp as possible. There's a tasty one out in Clover Valley this weekend, hmmmmm.
