HELLO my name is Dave

That would be the sticker I wore around after leaving Famous Dave's on Sunday in Roseville. Jen heard on the radio that participating locations were giving away free entrees of up to a $15 value to anyone w/the name Dave. So, I was like we better find one!!!

Otherwise, the wedding a day earlier was nice and lead to only 4 1/2 hours sleep but that was OK. Good preview for what I'm facing this weekend. After a slow dance, the chicken dance & dollar dance we split not just because it was getting late either. They had a soft serve ice cream dispenser to go along w/the cake which I'd never seen at a reception and thought it was a cool touch. I must have had too much of the bubbly from open tables since I was dripping melted stuff all over my shoes.

We both did great in our races and the venue for this event was stellar. Definitely some minor kinks to work out but in its first year, I'd give 'em a B+. I'm super proud of Jen in how she performed in her debut at a multisport by keeping the runs more consistent than a lot of people and steady on the bike. Mine was a sandbagger effort and feel a little bad taking the champion trophy for the Single Speed Category knowing I didn't put much into it. Analyzing my result though has me feeling really confident. I averaged 21.4 mph which was a little faster than my spring TT in Gear West Du w/a much smaller ratio meaning I had to spin @ higher cadence and yet my HR was very low.
