When you're on good form you'd best roll w/it! That was my feeling this weekend as not only do we have some of the greatest trails in Duluth but my legs somehow rebounded in a miraculous way. I had a solid race out @ Mont Du Lac finishing in the top 30 on yet another course that doesn't favor single speeders(like many do???). No question, this is my last XC race as my head is entirely in ultra mode now as I understand pace and enjoyed an awesome bell lap passing a half dozen before the line. Talking w/Adam Sundberg and Dave Pipho really makes me want to give back a little by volunteering at these type of events locally. Rounded out the day running in Lester w/Jen for a bit, picking lilacs, and eating dinner outside on the balcony...
