I've been on the go doing something everyday upon coming home from vacation and Mondays are great for just that. Often when I get worn thin I get irritable but not the case here. Sure was nice taking my time moving about w/chores and free of being in any sort of hurry. Because of the transition in weather lately it had me active in various ways. This was a blessing as I wanted to only work on general fitness while brainstorming a pattern to follow beginning this week. I'm not certain it will hold but feeling plain tired during mid-March to late-April is usually the only focus of my agenda!
Weekly Totals:
Mon>>one hour road bike
Tues>>one hour road bike in the blizzard
Wed>>44 minutes of running the streets home in the early morning after work in the blizzard(5.5 miles)
Thurs>>one hour road bike and 25 minutes of noncontinuous swimming
Fri>>one hour road bike
Sat>>1 hr 41 min skate ski in Lester Park on very sticky & wet snow. Experimented w/Hammer Nutrition that I'll be trying for awhile. My avg HR was 143 bpm.
Sun>>Installed a new Nite Rider Rebel 2.0 wireless computer to the KONA Major Jake(cyclocross frame). Decided to put a HUGE single speed ratio(42x15) together for the pre-season which will consist of a lot more flatlander terrain as it is my weakness. Headed into the wind going up Scenic 61 to reach Burlington Bay and spin in & around the Two Harbors area. Mileage ended @ 49.1 in 2 hr 57 min w/the avg HR of 118 bpm.
