EKG

Wearing my HR monitor has been something I've gone w/o lately to just try and get in tune w/my body in the absence of data. I threw it on this afternoon for my final bit of training before Saturday and got positive values. The course was the same as a couple days ago w/an additional segment of ski trail and I must admit my legs were firing in synergy! I need to remember to use my ass muscles on both the ups and downs. Gregg confirmed my suspicions that I'll be needing the headlamp for maybe the first hour or so in the thick woods. My plan is to start w/the NB 790 and trade it out for the Brooks Cascadia after the third aid station. Jen w/serve as my "one man wrecking crew" again on yet another expedition...

Trail Run: 41 minutes
avg HR: 132 bpm(max 148)
