"kick and glide"

Boulder Lake seemed really inviting on a sunny day. I called the ELC hotline last night to here the trails were groomed Friday and rated excellent. I drove out and parked on the north side of the lake to do the trails there first. Simply beautiful...conditions were everything a skier could ask for. These are narrower than the trails on the south side of the lake and offer more turns and hills. I even took a peek at the primitive trail out past the dam but was heavily drifted. After a brief stop at Wolfski's Den I continued to do the rest of the system across the water. It was nice getting a full body workout at a low impact expense. I kept it steady and felt tired when done.
