I met up w/Erik at noon and we ran from my place on yet another frigid day. We discussed how we really appreciated the environment of northern MN and how it is good for a person and his/her training. He's a good teammate for me to get out w/because I strive get to his level. We put together a nice loop starting out on roads then taking it to sno-mo paths under powerlines which had us sneaking our way around some barbwire fencing at times and then back out on the roads to bring us in. It takes me usually 10-20 minutes to shake my legs free so that I can settle into a groove of late(temp or just part of building volume??). I felt a little bashed this morning so I wore my POLAR to see if my RPE was accurate. Overall, I'm pleased to say I got another one in the books.
