I don't mean this like you'd hear it from Jeff Foxworthy either. Well, Jen and I got back from Denfeld HS after watching her dad in some one-act plays that served as a fundraiser to help the speech team go to Las Vegas. It was funny at times(father/daughter reaction) and was the first visit for myself to that auditorium. Now back to the matter at hand. I met up w/Dave Pipho this afternoon for a snowshoe up & down the fairways on Ridgeview GC and for singletrack in Hartley. I expected to trudge on the links and run in the park but instead conditions on the GC enabled us to stride from the beginning to end! We weren't out quite as long as I had anticipated which was just fine because I figured we'd split the running and trudging 50/50. It turned out to be an excellent workout w/a tough closing stretch breaking thru the icy surface of some untouched ground. I feel like I accomplished a lot w/o much expenditure!! Tomorrow I think I might want to push the envelope.
