blow it away

It's been calm here in the northland after quite a blustery spring. Taking a while to see temperatures rise didn't bother me in the least. Once it did, I continued to tolerate our climate well...only because of a missing factor...HUMIDITY! With a storm brewing over the weekend the air became something you could punch at. Finally, on Tuesday we got rain but w/the mercury on the thermometer forecasted up there I was nervous about the day to follow. Much to my delight, constant wind has returned and swept the moisture out of town. Dewpoints were tropical and getting quality rest in those conditions won't happen for me. Putting the AC unit back in our kitchen window has been a savior too.

Otherwise, we're taking my pa to a Twins game this Saturday. For those of you that didn't somehow hear the buzz over Joe Mauer visiting Duluth last week, my gal found him @ Northland Country Club during a cocktail party.
