Where the blacktop ends...

...or where it starts if you're looking at this from my end of town(and yes, that title is a Keith Urban song)!
View of the lakewalk from 60th Avenue East.

This photo was taken around noon today but workers had it complete to 51st Ave E yesterday. Still many fine details to neaten it up but this is just exciting as it is. For a while now, I've been checking the progress daily on my bike commute to work. Should open to use by next week but don't quote me on that.

Otherwise, collected some interesting data again from running the same loop in Lester Park: Tuesday; duration of 47 min 47 sec, max HR of 162 bpm, avg HR of 144 bpm, & 7915 strides. Thursday; duration of 47 min 36 sec, max HR of 160 bpm, avg HR of 142 bpm, & 8002 strides. On Wednesday, I did a few Spenst Training Drills on a hill that left my legs very heavy and was anxious to see how running the following day would go. These correlations appear to be working in my favor, or least, how I wished if there is indeed a benefit.?!
