OVERLOADED

With the loading dock @ SMDC being closed while the cooling system is being revamped, my job has gotten pretty tough lately! Moving heavy items like exam tables, lateral file cabinets, etc. out the main doors to go up & down a lift gate on the truck has sent me home very sore in recent weeks every night. Unfortunately, this may continue until October but there is nothing I can do about it so I just look at the positives in it.....my upper body is getting an excellent workout!

Sunday, I really found out that training has been like walking a fine line as my body finally spoke out loud. Gregg and I went into Lester as he wasn't familiar w/the newest MTB trails. We did two loops of the entire course plus a tiny lap around the seventh bridge while using hiking & ski trails to get to and from. Everything felt good but near the top of the system on #2 I suddenly noticed being more labored. Wrapped it up just fine other than a bit of tensing muscles due to many consecutive efforts during a fortnight period. Since returning from Wausau, I haven't missed a beat and workouts have consisted on average of 45-120 minutes of running or ~2 1/2 hours of biking each day. I was excited to meet up w/him @ the end of all this because I knew his comfortable would stress me a little which is what I was seeking.
