The guys @ Adelsman's Cross-Country Ski Page chose a shot of me leading the way back up the creek trail in Chester Bowl last night. I took the victory and must say I feel as good as I look in the photo. Usually I appear like death run over but other than a bruised heel and sore shoulder from catching my balance on a quick descent, things seem to be in order for rounds two & three this morning and tomorrow morning! For my efforts, I was awarded a voucher for a pair of Salomon XT Wings that won't be used by me. Luck would have it during the random drawing I got picked for another!! Although, I can think of a couple people that will find happy feet in them. Otherwise, I've been up since 0500 sipping cold toddy & eating anything that resembles a breakfast item in our cupboards before heading over to the zoo to hop on a bus for a longer stage.

I had planned on doing that race back when it was going to be a 1 mile up Spirit Mountain. What was your finish time?
SteveQ--This was much better than the original plan since we were up & down Spirit on Saturday. Using three different areas in town showcased a fraction of what we've got better. My time was 21:41 but if you saw the course then you'd understand more. Enjoy the autumn season!
