weather stole the acts

For one, I feel bad when thinking about the many people that worked so hard leading up to Grandma's Marathon to only have yet unfavorable conditions again which dashed any chance for a PR. Secondly, Moondance Jam had been cut short on Thursday due to thunder and lightning bolts. There was a delay earlier when impressive rainfall came down after ground level clouds spun around the field and main stage terrifying staff and visitors alike. We thought for sure a tornado was about to plop right down on us and there was no significant shelter to take! Friday and Saturday though were excellent performances and the only artist we missed was Kenny Rodgers(Jen didn't care and I've seen him a decade ago).... but we heard many that came just for that reason??
