Yep, she gone and done it again!! Jen has a knack for calling into radio stations and winning all sorts of fun stuff. This afternoon from work she phoned in #9 and the rest is history...Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we'll be in Walker, MN w/all access passes. Unfortunately, it is the same week in June that Grandma's Marathon takes place but this is good news for me since I hate that friggin' course!!!!
Yesterday I laced up the tennis rackets to my feet for some stomping in the bush. The snomo trails are literally too firm already to enjoy wearing snowshoes right now. I took it all the way up to the top of Seven Bridges Road where the barricades are. Rather than take the same way back, descending on the unplowed road to the barricades at the third bridge seemed better as there was more powder that hadn't been disturbed. From that point there is some awesome singletrack that brings a person up to the snomo trails. Legs were a bit sore and tired from the hard snowpack underneath.

After some brunch, I decided to be a wanker planker this afternoon and did some skate nordic action. The "lighted loop" is already more difficult to get an edge in comparison to everything in the upper park. Using L to avoid coming down to the "lighted loop" kept me going round & round H and J plus others close in the alphabet. My technique was fairly good as I kept the knees bent to ensure a glute/quad burner.
